Camtasia vs Screenflow - Which is best? I am going to try to do some product marketing video with a friend of mine (his idea) and we are wondering which of these is better for that purpose. We are new to this so ease of use is a plus.
ScreenFlow can be run on any Mac computer with an Intel-made 64 bit CPU. About Camtasia Camtasia is a powerful video editing software, which supports most video media formats, and presents an easy-to-use demonstration and education video platform. Jul 02, 2013. Comparison: ScreenFlow vs Camtasia. ScreenFlow is video editing and screencasting software for OS X operating system. It can capture your activities on desktop screen, and then you can edit the recordings by trimming and rearranging the content as well as by adding callouts, annotations, and motion. Another vote for Screenflow. When using Camtasia, it just doesn't feel as 'organically Mac' as Screenflow, which can be very frustrating. I actually own both. I purchased Camtasia first then fled to Screenflow and now use that regularly. And I don't entirely dislike Techsmith, as I use Jing frequently and have Snagit also (crashes a lot, though).

Get ScreenFlowThis is really close and you could go with either one and be fine. My suggestion, in this case, would be to test both programs. See which one is the easiest to work with in your own experience. Camtasia is incredibly easy for me to use after looking up a few YouTube videos on how to do certain things. You would have to do the same thing for any program. Once you get a feel for how both of them operate then it will be easier to decide.![Download Download](https://dhwwtar19mmjy.cloudfront.net/acethinkercom/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/screenflow2.jpg)
No crap! I wouldn’t be looking up a comparison if I had time to test them both! Fine, you like being told what to do then go with Camtasia. Reason? My experience with it has been good simply for the fact that it lets me do what I think it will let me do. I hate using programs and trying to do something that completely makes sense and then it won’t let you do it. Camtasia is the opposite of that. It allows you to move, edit, add media in the most intuitive way I have ever seen.

That’s not good enough? Ok, fine let’s take it to video. This will show you everything these programs have and score them.
